Hey anders the royalties I get are pretty meager would you settle for a beer and a thank you? Lol I think I have Gavin smith and possibly others but ECW will be working more on it
Feel free to keep the copy let me know if you think I should change anything as I still have time to edit
Basically what the book is about is I have taken common memory techniques and poker tracker stats and created a system where you can remember VPIP exactly, hand ranges with more accuracy, memorizing all hand rankings for a full table and heads up IE K2 is ranked 65th and 131st suited unsuited resPectively in a full table and 71st and 86th HU suited and unsuited of course.
I also have a system where you can memorize exact hole cards in the position the player played them for example anders in seat 6 position nine played t8 76s kj and AKs in position 6 he played AqsAaQq and so on
I have also easily broken down in 5 steps how to derive your exact win rate of your 2 hole cards versus a shove with any 2 random hole cards
Also memorizing all the tells you could ever want all at the table in a live game
In short you can be a human poker tracker at a live game instead of " he's tight and is probably on this"
I think it will be a book like what theory of poker did but for poker recall
I am very proud of it
Ps there is a tonne more information in the book I have just scratched the surface of what you can do
Question. If your book is as great as it is then:
A)Wth you doing selling it to open public? Having system like that in your head would make you lots of money,no?
B)When was last time(if any time) you won/cashed major live tournament using this system?
C)You are saying that price of the craziness is only 16.21 when we know that any HUD software is minimum of 50$ unless you steal it or get it for free through poker services provider?
Yes you can speculate that software engineering is more complex but you telling me your time was only worth 16.21 a copy?
D)If this system does actually work, why not to sell to narrow public who has the money?
Not trying to be sceptic, just whole thing seems weird to me.
Those are all good questions
A) the system has made me money and continues to. The main reason I wrote it was the same reason many other authors write about the things they are passionate about. I have many reasons for writing it no one has yet written a book with this type of detail on recall before. Also I wanted to see if I could get published which I have ( in less than a week ) . If this concept is accepted like a theory of poker and other books I will be the first person to have done this, something that will be remembered If you could be remembered as a person whom contributed to the game would you not do so as well?
B) 2011 I have several Wsop cashes although don't bother looking me up Bennett Onika will not come up. My close friends and card players know me and i am sure they have a high respect for my poker abilities as for those who can't teach thus far I have been unsuccessful in getting a Wsop bracelet but I assure you that is my primary goal in the coming years
C) I had zero control over the pricing once I sold the rights to ECW Press. I have even less control over what amazon does. All I can say is should you buy my book and apply the principals the 16 or 20 or whatever investment you make in it will give you far more information at the tables than you ever have. The price is inexpensive not cheap.
D) Money was never my main motivator for this project. This book may give me a chance to be remembered as a person who changed the game. No amount of money can buy you that.
You can be a skeptic all you want. In fact you have been kind compared to closer friends who said " I don't want you to take this the wrong way but who the @&/:; are you?"
I am a person from Winnipeg with an idea. People who tell me I CANT fuel me to do big things.
I have often said Winnipeg card players are amongst the best in the world. I would also encourage anyone with an idea not to be afraid of skepticism but embrace and let it fuel you to do great things.
I hope this provides clarity and I am looking forward to meeting you when and if a book signing party is done.
I have an interesting idea.
The MLPC is coming up. If the "secrets" in this book work, how about giving them a test drive?
I'm planning on playing all three again this year. Last year, I monied in the $1000 event, basically doubling my buy ins for the week. I was happy with my results, but hope to improve upon them this year.
I'm not the best player in the world, but far from the worst. I'll read your book, and put the theories to work the best I can. And we can see how well it can work.
If you're worried about the $16.21 you could lose by me not buying a copy, I'm sure we can work that out...

Answer to aard I have already tested the system on several novice players each one has improved their decision making by a substantial margin.
After all I am not the type of person to write something this public and not test it myself with players. So as much as I would love to test it out again the answer is no but I will tell you what if you come out and meet me when it's released because you are from the peg I would be happy to coach you on any of the tougher systems free of charge. This would be the least I could do for a fan of my work.
One thing to note is that the being able to apply the techniques taught in the book does not necessarily make you a good/better poker player. Like online stats software, it provides you the tools to help poker players make more informed decisions at the table. If you are a bad player, then maybe the techniques will help you and maybe they won't. But if you are a good player, then maybe employing these techniques will help you to refine your game/improve results my making more mathematically correct decisions.
I have read an unedited copy of the book although as yet, I have not taken the time yet to fully 'learn' the techniques. For the record, I have borne witness to the author employing his 'internal poker tracker'. And I have seen others who have read the book begin to demonstrate the same recall skills.
You were one of many doesn't bug me lol
Yes the system works for giving you more information but if you are bad then wel you're just bad lol
Having said that the information I had at tables this year helped make me make better critical decisions for my tournament life and or chipping up in short more info=better choices=fewer mistakes= higher probability that you will put yourself into position and win
